Our world is becoming more and more connected. Thousands, millions, billions of connected devices create a bridge between real and virtual world. This digital age is transforming all branches including agriculture. Looking currently at the developments in agriculture, agricultural robots, smart green houses, precision farming and livestock monitoring are hot topics worldwide.

This session will show what is ongoing right now. Thereby a link will be set to the simul+ activities of the Saxon State Ministry of the Environment and Agriculture, which addresses not only actual environmental and agriculture policy but also interdisciplinary common projects to ensure sustainable husbandry including condition monitoring of plants and soil.
