X-FAB is the leading analog/mixed-signal foundry group manufacturing silicon wafers for analog-digital integrated circuits (mixed-signal ICs). As a specialty foundry for so-called “More than Moore” technologies, X-FAB creates a clear alternative to typical foundry services by combining solid, specialized expertise in advanced analog and mixed-signal process technologies with excellent service, a high level of responsiveness and first-class technical support.

X-FAB maintains five wafer manufacturing facilities worldwide at the following locations:

  • Erfurt, Germany
  • Dresden, Germany
  • Itzehoe, Germany
  • Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia
  • Lubbock, Texas, USA

X-FAB offers its customers a broad technology portfolio and has a manufacturing capacity of approx. 62,000 8-inch equivalent wafer starts per month to satisfy the increasing demand for analog/mixed-signal ICs.
Wafers are manufactured based on advanced modular CMOS and BiCMOS processes with technologies ranging from 1.0 to 0.13 µm, and special BCD, SOI and MEMS long-lifetime processes.

Products manufactured with X-FAB technologies are mainly found in the following applications areas:
