Silicon Saxony e. V.
Scientific Board
“Made in Silicon Saxony” stands for leading-edge research, technology, quality and power. The Saxon research landscape comprises a lot of universities and research institutes, having one of the highest densities of research institutions within Germany. This has lead to its European leadership role in research in microelectronics, organic electronics and photovoltaics.
Thus, Silicon Saxony has implemented a scientific advisory board in its structure in order to include important input of leading researchers into the strategic work of the association.
The members of the scientific board counsel the board of Silicon Saxony in strategic questions, inform about technological trends and support regional, national and international research cooperations and technology transfers.
